The Griffith Generals had four errors in Saturday night's 6-2 loss to the Elkhart County Miracle 6-2.

The Generals scored first in the opening frame after an outfield mishap allowed Cole Hockman to cross the plate on a Horacio Cabrales pop fly.

A line drive single by Hockman extended the General's lead to 2-0 as Jaren Jackson crossed the plate in the third inning.

The Miracle captured the lead, 3-2, in the fourth after the Generals committed two errors, both by Angel Ramirez. Ramirez has three errors on the year.

Miracle starting pitcher Cristopher Gonzalez went the distance, hurling all nine innings only allowing two runs, neither earned, on five hits. Gonzalez had 14 strikeouts.

Draza Dupor earned the loss for the Generals, the righty threw four innings, surrendering five runs on two hits, while striking out four and walking four.

Isaiah Thompson, Jaren Jackson, Angel Ramirez, Graham Gonzales, and Hockman each collected one hit for Griffith Generals. Hockman led Griffith Generals with one run batted in.

The Generals fall to 1-3 on the year with eight straight games scheduled in the next eight days, including Sunday's 4 p.m. game with the Miracle.
